Bonds available

All JEIP Bonds are tradeable through our Bond Market Place and the terminal bonus, which is applied quarterly, adds to the tradeable value.

With the 25 year Bond the increasing coupon adds to tradable value as the Net Present Value (NPV) is calculated using the future inflows and as the next uplift gets closer the NPV increases.

The range JEIP of investment Bonds available currently are:
10 YEAR FIXED INTEREST BOND

Pays 5% per annum with a 20% terminal bonus. This is an equivalent return of 7% per annum if held to maturity.

25 YEAR BOND WITH FIXED EXIT BONUS

Pays an initial 5% per annum rising every fifth year by half a percent until it reaches 7% per annum. There is also a 75% capital bonus upon expiry.

25 YEAR APPRECIATING INTEREST WITH TERMINAL BONUS LINKED TO HPI

Pays the same interest as the fixed exit bond but as an alternative, investors can link their exit to a share of the Halifax House Price Index and benefit from general house price rises in the UK.

The initial coupon is 5.0% and rises 0.5% on each fifth year anniversary to 7.0% in years 20 to 25.

The terminal bonus is variable and linked to Halifax Property Index and is applied quarterly but paid at maturity.
